Alyson:  I just wanted to be sure to personally thank you for all the wonderful pens you made for the Governors and guests of our conference. They were a highlight of the event, each one is beautiful. Having the variety of woods (each one is truly unique!) and being able to give all of our guests a very high quality, utilitarian gift made in Vermont with Vermont products was truly a treat for us as well.

I also want to thank you for the Lilac pen that you gave me. I use it as my only pen now and keep it in a special pocket in my bag so I will hopefully never lose it! It looks and feels wonderful and it is also a reminder to me of all the work that went into the big event.

Thank you so much again for your work and for your thoughtful gift.

Sandra From North Carolina: Jim, I just purchased a Cherry Burl elegant beauty today.  It is a beautiful piece.  I hope to purchase some for gifts  - - hopefully I won't be tempted to keep them for myself!!

Kathleen:   These lovely pens on which I had imprinted a special date are still my very favorite "giveaway" I have ever done for our alumni events here at the Yale School of Forestry.Thank you for this reminder, Jim, and I hope to do business with you again!Kath SchomakerDirector of Alumni AffairsYale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies

Marianne from Bristol Vermont:Your lilac pens are a unique and cherished way to commemorate a favorite tree from the family homestead. Thanks Jim!

Chris:   I had purchased several of your pens as groomsmen's gifts at my wedding.  I also purchased a beautiful lilac pen and recently gave it to my wife on her birthday.  Your pens are almost too nice to use!  Thanks

Debbie:  I received one of your exquisite stone pen holders...what a great gift, they are great.

Dr. Mike Kelley Fairfax, Virginia:  I bought a lilac pen made from prunings at the Shelburne Museum for my wife's birthday.  It was perfectly beautiful, came in a box that I wrapped with gift paper, and is a delightful writing instrument.  First rate all the way and highly recommended.

Phyllis from Vermont:  Thanks for the email. I love the pens you made for me of a chunk I saved of a local giant elm that died and was taken down by the state.

I had you make pens as special gifts for the past Board of Dorset Nursing Association.  Each one was unique, and I treasure the one I kept for myself. Thanks again for your great work.

Linda in Tennessee:  The pens I received were beautiful. There is so much meaning in giving a handcrafted pen to someone who is special. The person's personality can be at the heart of the purchase. To get a pen fashioned from a piece of wood from the Robert Frost tree made the gift incredibly special to someone who loves poetry. Thank you for the work you do and the fabulous customer service you provide.

Ed In Vermont:  I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU AND LET YOU KNOW HOW VERY PLEASED I AM WITH THE WORKMANSHIP YOU PUT INTO MAKING MY PEN. IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND I HOPE TO ENJOY USING IT FOR MANY YEARS TO COME.  AGAIN, THANK YOU!

Patty from Columbia Maryland:  Once again this year we gave your beautiful pens as Holiday gifts and as in the past the recipients were delighted.   This year we did his & her pens with engraving for a recently married couple, it was a unique gift.

Joe in Burlington VT:  This year we gave Vermont Hardwood Pens (and note cards created by Vermont artists) as Holiday gifts to clients and friends throughout the country. We received many wonderful comments about the pens. People thought they were beautiful and loved that they had been made from reclaimed wood. Thank you Jim for making the Holidays extra special.

Miriam from Monkton VT: "Vermont Hardwood Pens are elegant and beautiful, and Jim goes out of his way to help his customers make an impact with a special gift.  I called to order a lilac pen for my mother-in-law for Christmas, and Jim looked for the most special, rare wood he could find, and selected some that showed delicate streaks of purple in the grain. Then he had the pen ready for me within two days, even though I called right before the holidays.  This gift was a huge hit thanks to Jim's care and quality workmanship. (Did I mention that I also own one of his pens myself, and love it?)  Thank you, Jim!"

Charlie - Mount Juliet, Tennessee: I have had the PLEASURE of knowing this "extremely crafty fellow" for over 35 years (granted - not always in touch), I will promise that, his word - his works - his creations are without  comprimise.  An imaginative ARTISAN of rare caliber! Congrats Jim!

Renee- Smyrna, TN: I love my pen!  It is a beautiful piece of art, but it is also comfortable and writes well.  I will occasionally let someone use it , but I never let it get out of my sight!  haha  Thanks Jim!

Beth  - Hudson Valley, New York:  In this age of e-commerce, this company is a refreshing example of old-fashioned values, customer service and patient attention to detail that gives its customers honest service in an exceptional way that is rare and wonderful !  I would recommend this company, its beautiful products and the integrity of its owner to anyone and everyone !

Roger from West Palm Beach Florida:   My order came in on time and the pens are beautiful and much nicer than I expected.   I will place my second order in June for the other 48 pens we talked about and I will order earlier next time.
